About the Exam
The Elizabeth Blackburn School of Sciences (EBS) offers entry at Year 11 or Year 12, by an Edutest test and an interview. Students sit the test in Year 10 or Year 11. The Edutest test is Mathematics, Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning and Science Reasoning, each 30 minutes. Shortlisted students are then interviewed. Students benefit from research-driven learning, genuine research projects, and specialist STEM teaching.

How to Prepare for EBS Year 11/12
EBS focuses on research-driven learning. Practise questions that test scientific methodology and critical analysis.
Entry is at Year 11 or Year 12, by an Edutest test and an interview. Students sit the test in Year 10 or Year 11. Both sittings use the same Edutest test.
Verbal Reasoning is the component students least expect. Practise word relationships and logic under 30-second-per-question pressure.
