About EBS
The Elizabeth Blackburn School of Sciences (EBS) is a specialist government school dedicated to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education. Named after Nobel laureate Elizabeth Blackburn, the school emphasises research-driven learning and scientific inquiry. EBS offers entry at Year 10 and Year 11 through a competitive Edutest entrance exam that assesses mathematical reasoning, scientific literacy, and communication skills. The school provides students with opportunities to engage in genuine research projects and develop strong critical thinking skills.
