Is coaching even necessary? Here's what the research says.
A NSW Department of Education survey of parents whose children gained entry to selective classes suggests only 20% took part in coaching classes — and 10% did no preparation at all.
So coaching is not the entry ticket the market sells it as. What helps is knowing which skills are weak, early enough to fix them.

When should my child start?
Most families start 6 to 12 months out. Years 4 and 5 are the quiet years where the reasoning actually gets built.
Isn’t this just more screen time?

Will AI be marking my child’s work?
