About the Exam
Victoria's four selective-entry high schools also offer limited Year 10 places through a competitive Edutest-administered entrance exam. This pathway is for current Year 9 students who missed the Year 9 intake or who have recently moved to Victoria. The process involves registering via Edutest, sitting the entrance exam, and an interview stage (dependent on each school) which may include a written application. The Edutest exam assesses mathematics, numerical reasoning, verbal reasoning, reading comprehension, and written expression. The Year 10 Edutest exam is different from the ACER Year 9 exam. Make sure you practise with Edutest-format questions specifically.
