About MHS
Founded in 1905, Melbourne High School is a selective-entry government school for boys located in South Yarra. It is one of four selective-entry high schools in Victoria and consistently achieves outstanding VCE results. Entry is through the ACER-administered Selective Entry exam, which assesses students in reading reasoning, mathematical reasoning, verbal and quantitative general ability, and writing. Melbourne High School is known for its strong academic culture, diverse co-curricular programs, and a tradition of producing graduates who excel in a wide range of fields.
