About North Sydney Girls
North Sydney Girls High School is a selective-entry government school for girls in Crows Nest. The school is recognised for its academic rigour, supportive community, and excellent HSC outcomes. It attracts academically talented girls from across Sydney who are committed to excelling in their studies. Year 7 entry is through the Selective High School Placement Test: Reading, Mathematical Reasoning, Thinking Skills and Writing, authored by Cambridge University Press & Assessment and sat online. Students can also apply for Year 8-11 transfer entry via a shared Edutest exam with James Ruse, Baulkham Hills, North Sydney Boys, and Sydney Girls. Students sit the exam once to be considered for all participating schools.
