About Chatswood
Chatswood High School is a partially selective government school on Sydney's North Shore, known for strong academic results and a culturally diverse student body. Unlike a fully selective school, only part of the intake is selective — 30 boys and 30 girls enter each year through the Selective High School Placement Test, while the remainder of Year 7 is enrolled from the local area. The placement test is sat online and assesses Reading, Mathematical Reasoning, Thinking Skills and Writing, each worth 25% of the mark. Chatswood also participates in the shared Edutest exam for Year 8-11 transfer entry.
